WATCHXNYC INC is NOT an authorized dealer for any of the brands that we sell on our website. We source all of our inventory directly from the manufacturers, trusted vendors and clients with audited receipts of purchases from authorized boutiques.

Every single timepiece is opened, analyzed, and certified as authentic before we list or proceed to delivery our products.
HOW WE AUTHENTICATE
Our watchmakers with decades of experience and having seen thousands of movements will meticulously check all components of the movement (even if unworn).
This includes balance wheel & hairspring, balance bridge, mainspring & barrel, escapement and all others.
Significant improvements to replica cases and bracelets have made its way onto the market, meaning our technicians have been given enormous resources and training to spot and destroy any and all replica cases/bracelets that enter our facilities.
Precise measurements are taken of link width, lugs, taper, thickness etc and compared to certified genuine parts from manufacturers.
Metals are also tested with state of the art XRF machines, to ensure proper consistency with alloys used in the components.
Packaging is an often overlooked aspect for authentication, but its a clear flag to verify when authenticating your timepieces.
Each aspect of the packaging is compared to certified genuine packaging from the manufacturers, and checked on areas like logos, print, fonts, material and overall form.
There have been an increasing number of cases reported of fake and/or modified papers/warranty cards on the market.
WATCHXNYC has partnered with strategic insiders of many manufacturers to unlock the ability to check internal databases for serial numbers.
This provides us access to internal data that can help us identify modified warranty cards, swapped components and reported stolen serial numbers.
We perform this on flagged products during our authentication process.
Stolen Checks are performed to ensure that no product ever to leave our facilities will be reported, or even involved in any fraud / stolen report.
We check serial numbers of all watches that pass through our facilities through multiple global databases.

Any timepiece that is flagged positive, or implicated in any of these reports are immediately reported to local authorities and handed over.
